Henniker House was built in 1859 on the banks of the Contoocook River, in the foothills of the White Mountains of New Hampshire. It was a Birthing Hospital in the 1920s and later served as a residence for World War II veterans attending New England College.

A B&B since the mid 1980's, Henniker House is a perfect reflection of Jane Austen’s belief that “There is nothing like staying home for real comfort”.
You’ll feel at home in this gracious Victorian guest house and enjoy hearty New England breakfasts in the solarium.
We (Kate and Phil) have been at Henniker House since May 2005. We bring a unique combination of world travel and small town roots. An art and culture buff, Kate saw much of Europe and Asia during her corporate
career. She now wanders New Hampshire. Phil is a PSIA certified ski instructor at Pat’s Peak and knows many family friendly hiking spots near by. Both of us enjoy helping guests discover New Hampshire.
